Tween, Mom Agree on Dragonwing
Who says that Moms and tween daughters don't agree when it comes to undergarments, in particular bras and sports bras?!
Becky and her daughter were so pleased with the fit and performance of the Dragonwing Mesh Racer sports bra that she wrote an online review, entitled "Good fit, soft material. Go by the Measurements on the Size Chart -- It works!"
She'd been wearing another brand loyally, and since she's grown taller, she needed more length in the straps. For the past several months, she's been embarrassed by the resulting push-up effect and annoyed by the constant ride-up. She's tried on multiple brands and models, even women's xxs sizes for the length, but ran into the same problems everywhere: Too much bra and not enough strap. The sizes that fit her height were clearly made for larger-chested girls. The Dragonwing sports bra offers more length and coverage without excess fabric. It truly seems proportioned for a more athletic but developing girl's body. Also, the material on this bra is soft cotton, and both the band and straps are wider than other bras she's tried. She finds that more comfortable, and I like that wider bands and straps offer better support for developing bodies.We love hearing detailed feedback about our performance athletic wear for girls. "The Only Sports Bra My Daughter Will Wear"
We love customer feedback of all kinds -- it helps us make the best fitting, best performing girls athletic wear possible. And we especially love to hear that girls love the comfort, performance, and fit of their Dragonwing girlgear.
Vicki wrote to say that the Half Tee Sports Top is "the only sports bra my daughter will wear. She loves that it is soft and lower, so she can wear it to all her games knowing that she is covered!!"
Super soft and comfortable, the Half-Tee is perfect under everyday school clothes and sports jerseys, especially ones with lower cut or scooped arm holes, like basketball, lacrosse, or track. We also hear that lots of girls wear these sports bras under their pajama tops -- they're THAT comfortable!

I already have two tops that I wear under my soccer jersey on cold days, but the Dragonwing Chill Weight top is going to jump to the front of the line every single time. It’s warm and soft, made of the same material as the leggings. It has a panel on the wrist of each sleeve to wipe sweaty foreheads or running noses, and (drumroll please…) it has thumbholes! These clothes fit and suit me to a “T” and have all the little details that make a big difference.

Teen Review of Racer Sports Bra
We're thrilled with the recent review by Mom Trends of our Racer Sports Bra for Girls, Chill Weight long sleeve top and spandex leggings for girls. Logan, the soccer-playing, 8th grader intern who wrote the review, captured the essence and mission of Dragonwing.

I love the material the Racer sports bra was made of. It’s soft, snug, and oh-so-stretchy. The dragonfly design on the back is really cute, and the long length combined with the wide band means that it stays in place without digging into your skin. I normally don’t wear a sports bra anytime I don’t have to, but I want to wear this everywhere. The clothes are made just for girls’ bodies, and they’re all age appropriate. "Ridiculously Comfortable" Leggings for Girls
MomTrends (aka trend-spotting blogger and CEO Nicole Feliciano) gave a sneak peek on Instagram of its upcoming review of Dragonwing. We LOVE this photo of our Chill Weight leggings and fitted long-sleeve top.
But what I love even more is that the reviewer - and model - is an 8th grade girl who's doing an internship with MomTrends. Now THAT's girl empowerment! Her Instagram comment:

Our Un-Tee Sports Camis have been flying off the proverbial shelves here at Dragonwing girlgear HQ!
Girls love the way they fit and feel under school and sports uniforms and "everyday" clothes. Snug but not tight with just the right amount of support and coverage.

Monica watched her 10-year old granddaughter on the softball field as she adjusted her uniform again and again, tugging at the bulky compression shorts that were bunching up under her uniform. The girl glanced around self-consciously each time to see if anyone noticed.

Girl's Keyhole Bra = Comfort, Confidence
We know that girls of all ages come in all shapes and sizes. And we know that girls love to play, whether on the playground or on a competitive playing field. Sadly and far too often, girls drop out of sports and start becoming less active when their bodies start to develop.
